About Us

Our Mission Statement

We manage our business by the Golden Rule, treating others as we would like to be treated, holding ourselves to high ethical standards. We achieve our objectives by employing the best people in the industry, training them effectively and compensating them fairly.

We constantly strive to serve the highest quality food, quickly, in a friendly manner, in sparkling clean, Dave’s Way restaurants.

All of our efforts are directed toward operating profitable restaurants that exceed our guests and our employee’s expectations.

Awards and Accolades

Franchisee Jim Furman’s outstanding record speaks for itself. His personal investment in his people and restaurants has made him the successful operator of 87 thriving stores in North and South Carolina. His stores are committed to serving quality food and creating a positive work environment. He values his employees and encourages them to treat others as they would like to be treated.

“Jim’s standard for excellence is one of the reasons Wendy’s has such an outstanding reputation,” says Senior Vice President of Midwest Region Jack Whiting. The franchise’s sales and profits trends show they consistently exceed their customer’s expectations. And this year Furman’s stores posted the highest score ever for a franchise of its size on the Quality Assurance Audit.

Furman is active in his community and serves on the board of directors for Samaritan’s Purse, a nonprofit missions organization. He’s spearheaded Wendy’s participation in “Operation Christmas Child” which assists children in developing nations. Furman also serves on the board of Wingate College.
